Religious serial killers are rampaging through Phoenix, killing all the apostates and unbelievers they can. With the death toll mounting, and more and more cases found to be connected, six young police detectives investigate the source of the killings while also dealing with demons from their pasts resurfacing to distract them. Kind, Lily Sanders: A girl conceived in rape and dedicated to destroying the men who ruined her mother. In her quest for revenge, her step-father Cliff, who raised and loved her, is diagnosed with a brain tumor. In an attempt to save him, Lily gives permission for a new untested pill to be administered to Cliff to remove the tumor. After an in-depth investigation of the pills and their creator, Lily discovers that the pharmaceutical company responsible for the drug was aware of the possible fatalities and did nothing to save Cliff. As Adeline prepares for Brian’s funeral, Bruno discreetly steals the memory card and escapes scotch-free. Depressed, Brad Kidd: Brian’s partner, Brad, is a depressed young man. Confused by everything and fighting to do the right thing. One year before, Brad had been hunting a killer. The killer threatened Brad and everyone he loved but Brad pressed on in the chase. Brad’s mother was killed and his sister was injured to the degree of a year-long coma. Now, his sister Amy is to be taken off life-support and killed. Brad chooses a reckless path to save her. Amy wakes up and Brad’s life starts to become happier until their long-lost father Tom appears to ask forgiveness for leaving them. After gaining their trust, Tom captures Amy and Brad in an attempt to steal Amy’s trust fund set up in their mother’s will. Tom admits to being a fraud and unrelated to Brad and Amy before mentioning a woman who has a major grudge against Brad. When Tom attempts to kill Brad and Amy, Brad manages to stop and kill him. Casanova, Lance Rio: Lance is in love and engaged with beautiful actress Elizabeth Knight. But memories haunt Lance’s dreams. Memories of his grandfather who pushed him into becoming the man he is. Feelings of insufficiency related to his grandfather haunt Lance as he hunts down a serial killer called Lucrecio. All who can find the elusive Lucrecio start dying off leaving Lance a cold trail. After finding a clue hidden deep within Lucrecio’s calling card, Lance, with his partner Jamie, track Lucrecio to a rooftop. They walked into a trap ending in Elizabeth’s death and Lucrecio’s escape. Lance is a wreck as he continues his hunt for Lucrecio. After recovering El Senor’s memory card from Bruno’s car accident, Lance discovers the mole and tracks the mole to a park in the middle of the night. The mole pays Lucrecio to kill Kristen Burk, the police team leader. In the fight that follows, the mole escapes and Lucrecio is killed. Lance must now track down the mole and have his revenge for Elizabeth’s death. Awkward, Jamie Downs: Lost in love for Sam, comforts Sam in her spiral of grief leading up to Cliff’s death. Jamie assists Sam in her search for the cause of her father’s death while helping Lance hunt down Lucrecio. Perfect, Kristen Burk: A battle of love within Kris dominates her life as she tries to decide if she will love high school girlfriend Sam Hilton or new mystery guy Seth Tyson. The struggle continues when Kris and her partner Lily start investigating the strange religious murders popping up all over the city. A video recorded by a witness of a murder sends Kris wheeling back to the death of her mother which had been committed in the same fashion. To solve her mother’s cold case, Kris presses on with determination rarely seen. A DNA search of one of the killers reveals that Seth is not who he seems to be. After the ensuing gun battle, Kris kills Seth. Seth’s last words reveal that Sam and Seth are cousins. After confronting her girlfriend Sam, Kris discovers that Sam came to Kris to gain her trust to destroy the religious terrorist group known as the Electi responsible for all the killings. With Sam’s help, Kris infiltrates the Electi base camp to catch the killers. Lance, with the help of Jamie, Lily, and Brad, track down the police mole to the Electi base camp. Lance sets out to catch the mole responsible for El Senor’s drug cartel, Brian’s death, Tom trying to kill Brad and Amy, and Elizabeth’s death. They get to the Electi base camp to find that Kris is the leader of the Electi and the mole. Kris is standing over Sam about to kill her for betraying the Electi when the police charge in. After an intense battle, Lance kills Kris and the Electi are captured. The remaining characters gather at Brian’s funeral as they grieve for all they have lost. They find hope together.
